EURADOS Young Scientist Conference Support 2024

EURADOS (European Radiation Dosimetry Group) has decided to support young scientists to participate in the 5th European Congress of Medical Physics.

The participants can apply for the EURADOS Young Scientist Conference Support 2024 (YSCS). The YSCS will consist of a sum up to 500 € to contribute covering either the conference fee and/or the travel and/or the subsistence costs, up to the applicant’s choice and following the EURADOS reimbursement rules.

DGMP Travel Grant

DGMP awards twelve travel grants of 250 € each (eight sponsored by Canon Medical Systems and four sponsored by Philips Market DACH GmbH, Healthcare) for students enrolled at a German university.  

How to apply:
Persons who are not older than 30 years at the time of application, who are enrolled at a German university and who submit a contribution (poster or lecture) to the conference are eligible to apply. The prerequisite for receiving a scholarship is that the submitted contribution is included in the program of the conference. Submissions can be made during the review process and before it has been decided whether the submission has been accepted.
For application, please send an email to the DGMP office (office@dgmp.de) including the following information: name, email address, name of German university, title of submitted abstract.

The deadline for the application is 31.07.2024.

Reduced Participation Fee for ECMP for Bachelor and Master Students from Germany and Switzerland
For students in Bachelor's and Master's degree programs enrolled at a German or Swiss university, we offer a subsidized participation fee.

EFOMP Travel Sustainability Awards

For those travelling to ECMP 2024 in Munich we encourage you to Go Green! In order to reflect the sustainability program of the current presidency of EFOMP and the trination hosts of ECMP,  we are delighted to announce that we will be making three sustainability awards of free registration for ECMP 2026 in Valencia, Spain . Two free registrations will go to the most imaginative low carbon footprint physical  journeys to the congress. The third registration will be awarded to the greenest company stand . The awards will be judged by the members of the EFOMP board and presented during the ECMP congress. The winners will be expected to write a brief article about their ECMP 2024 experience in the 2024 winter issue of EMP news.
